Where
is this little hideaway, Boat Harbour Beach? It
is just 10 minutes west of the town of Wynyard on Tasmania's
northwest coast. There you will have the convenience of
major grocery shops, banking, and a choice of local Restaurants.
Wynyard is also the home
of the Burnie Regional Airport. You can
avoid having to fly into the major cities of Launceston
or Hobart, hire your car in Wynyard and you have saved hours
of driving to reach this little beach haven
From the Bass Hwy turn into C232 (Port
Road) in 2 kms you’ll be at the beach.
‘The View’ - left into The
Esplanade (Port Road) and then left again into Moore Street.
Fourth house on the left we’re #12 and Boat Harbour
Beach House signposted.
‘The Waterfront’ -
left into The Esplanade (Port Road), you will pass Moore
Street, continue
staying to the right along the waters edge, in 300 metres
you will come across beach houses on the right. Second House,
# 314, and Boat Harbour Beach House signposted.
‘The Waters
Edge’ -
left into The Esplanade (Port Road), you will pass Moore
Street, then stay to the right until you come to 6 beach
houses on the right.. The Waters Edge is the next to
last house #320 and Boat Harbour Beach House signposted.
